YogaVa has been created as a source for learning yoga online; it is intended to make quality multimedia yoga instruction accessible to everyone. The intent is for students to be able to practice in the comfort of their own home (or while traveling) and at the time that is convenient to them while having ongoing guidance. Learning yoga online will help you develop the self-discipline of your own practice at home.
YogaVa’s mission is to help everyone have an experience of what yoga really is. It recognizes Yoga as a science, an art form and an ancient spiritual tradition with the extraordinary ability of enhancing life on all levels for modern day people.
About Robyn Regula, B.A., RYT
Robyn Regula has been a dedicated student of Yoga since 1997 and a teacher since 2001. She taught full time for many years and trained hundreds of students of various ages and abilities each year, many of whom had never tried yoga before. She has been influenced by many different teachers and styles allowing the variety of what she has learned to come through into a unique form of Hatha-Vinyasa Yoga. Most recently she has studied with Erich Schiffmann and has been deeply inspired by his Freedom Style Yoga.
Robyn’s classes are dynamic… challenging yet relaxing. She is a compassionate teacher. Her students appreciate her calm, peaceful, respectful, slow moving style with an emphasis on clear, easy to follow instruction, proper alignment and awareness of the breath while allowing the inner guidance, the inner teacher, to come through.
Robyn is a certified yoga instructor with the Yoga Alliance at the 500 hour level, which she earned after completing a three month yoga teacher training intensive in Thailand (2002). She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Evergreen State College (2000). She completed all three levels of Reiki certification (1999) and received training in Thai Yoga Therapy from Saul David Raye (2000). Robyn is a student of life, consciousness, personal growth and healing while also having a passion for nutrition and simple fresh food. She currently teaches locally in Olympia, Washington.
